Since 1989, China's theme parks have experienced four rounds of upsurge, each of which has given birth to theme parks with folk customs, and large-scale entertainment equipment. The cultural connotation and product richness has gradually improved as well. In the first half of 2015 - 2016, nearly 30 large-scale theme parks opened. More than 20 theme parks are under construction. It is estimated that by 2020, a total of 64 theme parks will be completed. At present, China's theme park is entering into a high-speed construction period with a number of world-renowned theme parks expanding in China, and China's own brand parks are also increasing. The increasing income and demand for leisure and entertainment are main factors that stimulate the development of theme parks.
