The “Plan” proposes to further enhance the technology application capability of the fintech industry by 2021, realize the deep integration and coordinated development of fintech, and significantly enhance the people’s satisfaction with digital, networked and intelligent financial products and services, and promote China’s fintech at an international advanced level. At the same time, the “Plan” also identified six key tasks, including strengthening the strategic deployment, rational application of fintech, empowering financial services to improve quality and efficiency, strengthening financial risk prevention capabilities, strengthening fintech supervision, and establishing a sound regulatory system.
