5th Latin America Hospital Expansion Summit

The country is budgeting around 56.200 USD million for federal health programs including infrastructure investment projects, 4.500 USD million for supply of medicines and medical equipment. It is the country with the most efficient health system in Latin America, according to Bloomberg's annual analysis of almost 200 economies, ranking Mexico on number 20 globally and on rank 1 among Latin American economies.

Throughout the Latin American region, significant investments are made in the health sector. Costa Rica, for example, has developed one of the best health systems in Central America promoting both public and private health, and has managed to attract investments from innovating companies In Panama for instance an important project was carried out corresponding to eight environmental impact studies presented last year. One of the most relevant projects is the construction of a 21-level hospital.
