SHANGHAI, CHINA – During the period of 2009 till 2016, China's urban transportation system will receive an injection of 52.84 billion RMB. Through new construction, expansion and the implementation of Intelligent Transportation Systems, China's major cities aim at upgrading the safety, efficiency and sustainability of their transportation networks.
Noppen's 2nd Annual Integrated Urban Transportation Network Congress 2010, was co-organized by the Shanghai Municipal & Highway Engineering Trade Association which seeks to establish communication between its members, the government and society, and to develop the prosperity of the municipal engineering and construction industry. At the 2nd Annual Integrated Urban Transportation Network Congress, which took place on the 22-23 April in Shanghai, China over 80 major construction groups of city railway, subway, tunnels, roads and bridges; engineering companies; top design institutes; and municipal project owners/operators across China came together to discuss the development of the most advanced technology and solutions.
