With the influx of air travel and the forecasted expansion of it in the years to come, airports across Africa are scrabbling to build new airports and expand existing ones.Tanzania is spearheading this expansion of the airport industry with their expansion and development of 10 airports.
With the airlines expanding, airports are competing as to who will be the next regional hub. Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda are all building substantial international airports to lure airlines and ensure their airport is chosen.
