6th China Refining & Petrochemical Summit
China petrochemical industry needs to improve their technical solutions to maintain constant growth and to expand towards centralization. The industry output is expected to reach close to 13 trillion RMB by the end of 2012 and will increase 18% from last year. According to the 12th Five-Year Plan, they will pay more attention to oil cleanliness and quality. While the authoritative association indicates that by the end of 2015 energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions will reduce by 15% compared with the end of 2010. Also, with the new plan there will be 100% treatment rate of industrial effluent and 90% treatment rate of solid waste.With this information Noppen decided to host their 6th China Refining and Petrochemical Summit on October 18th & 19th 2012, in Shanghai, China. It truly provided an excellent platform for major oil companies, operators, petroleum engineering companies and petrochemical material companies to share their opinions and experience on the industry. The summit was industry focused and allowed industry leaders from China and afar to discuss the latest industrial policies and technologies for setup and operation of petrochemical plants. This summit was also to help set up partnerships with distributors, suppliers and solution providers.
