China Clean Development Mechanism Summit,2009
Noppen’s “China Clean Development Mechanism Summit 2009”, which took place at the Marriott West, was a platform for practitioners in the CDM sector from China and abroad, to exchange information, network and conduct business. The event brought to light interesting discussions and concluded that the CDM market has been affected by the financial crunch but the outlook is still positive regarding the post-2012 climate change regime. In addition, the general consensus among delegates was that the currently low CER price would rally again in the near future. Other topics of interest included issues relating to CDM registration and issuance.
