China Commercial Security Congress, 2010
At the China Commercial Security Congress, over 80 major construction groups, engineering companies, top design institutes, and municipal project owners/operators across China came together to discuss the development of the most advanced integrated safety and security solutions in China. Held on the 4-5 March 2010 in Shanghai, China the congress provided an excellent platform for industry professionals and, as stated by Shanghai Baohua Group Ltd, "introduced new technological developments and timely concepts" .Co-organizers of the event, Shanghai Architectural Society and Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design (Group) Co Ltd were represented by Gao Chengyong, Chief Engineer, Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design (Group) Co Ltd, who opened the conference and warmly welcomed the delegates. Key speakers at the event were Liu Xiqing, Former Secretary General, TC 100, who introduced fire and security technology development and the standardization of China's safety and security industry; and Wen Boyin, Chief Engineer, East China Architectural Design & Research Institute Co Ltd, also a drafter of the national standard, who gave an excellent speech on the standardization of Chinese Intelligent Building Design and Engineering.
