On October 4th and 5th 2018, Lnoppen will hold the Latin America Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Summit. The venue of the event will be Bogotá, Colombia where one of the most important road construction projects called ""Tunel el Toyo"" will be located. This tunnel will be the longest in the country and one of the most extensive in South America.
According to the National Infrastructure Agency of Colombia (ANI), through the implementation of the ""Fourth generation of road concessions"" or ""4G Roads"" program, Colombia seeks to build and operate more than 8,000 kilometers of roads and projected the construction of 103 tunnels, of which 28 are under construction, 46 are in studies and design phase and 29 are already in operation.
Apart from Colombia, also in the rest of Latin America road, bridge and tunnel projects are being developed. Ecuador has almost 10,000 kilometers of maintenance and road development & Mexico will invest 16,650 million pesos to complete there road works, just to name a few.
The Latin America Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Summit will bring together government bodies, concessionaires, international and national industry associations, investors, architects, engineers, constructors, consultants, legal authorities and solution providers for a focused 2-day interaction on updated trends, technologies and equipment.
