World CTL 2012 India Summit

The World CTL Conference is the main international event on coal and biomass conversion to chemicals, natural gas and liquid fuels. On December 11 and 12, 2012, 160 delegates representing 120 companies and institutions convened in New Delhi for the World CTL 2012 India Summit. 

Leading experts and managers from India, China, Europe, South Africa and the USA attended the summit.

The Summit was co-organized by World CTL and Noppen, the leading event organizer in the field of energy. The two-day summit was followed by a site tour in Panipat, where 17 participants visited the ammonia plant of NFL (National Fertilizers Limited). “The Summit has been evaluated excellent or good by 95% of participants, average by 5% and weak by 0%”, said Mr. Serge Périneau, the Chairman of the conference.

Shri Srikant Kumar Jena, Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers, Shri S.K. Srivastava, Secretary of the Ministry of Coal, Shri Naveen Jindal, Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power Limited, Dr. Ajit Sapre, Group President of Reliance Industries Ltd, and Mr. Subrat Ratho, Managing Director of Jindal Synfuels Limited inaugurated the Summit by lighting the lamp.
