After three successful editions of the Latin America Port Expansion Summit in Mexico and Andean region of Latin America; Lnoppen will host its 4th edition in the Southern Cone: Chile.
Chile is coming back to the floorplan in terms of port investments in the region, with around 900 million USD being invested in the main terminals of the country and another 600 million USD that is being invested in design and planning studies. According to the Chilean Chamber of Construction, approx. 2 billion USD will be spent in the port sector in Chile by 2020.
At the same time other countries such as Colombia, Peru and Central America keep expanding and upgrading their terminals as well as developing plans for new ports and terminals.
At the 4th Latin America Port Expansion Summit; government officials, investors, port authorities and port & terminal operators will go in discussion with consultants, architects, construction companies, equipment providers and service groups, in order to better explore the market and support the project development.
