5th Annual Southeast Asia Airport Expansion Summit

About US$255 billion is currently earmarked to build new airports worldwide, with another US$845 billion to be spent on upgrades such as extra runways & terminals. New airports in Asia will soak up more than US$125 Billion.
Vietnam has 23 airports, and in the Master Plan to 2020 the Government has to upgrade most of these existing airport and as well develop new airports with a total investment of USD 13,4 billion. Airport of Thailand announced to expand passenger capacity of six airport in the next 10 years. Projects are underway at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and in Phuket with plans for the northern Chiang Mai Gateway. Singapore Changi Airport is already working on the 3rd runway and the 5th terminal due to be completed in 2030.
At the 5th Southeast Asia Airport Expansion Summit; government officials, investors, airport management groups and civil aviation authorities will go in discussion with consultants, architects, construction companies, equipment providers and service groups, in order to better explore the market and support the project development.
