January 11th-12th, 2024丨Shanghai China,
In recent years, China's museums have made new progress in venue construction, cultural relics protection, collection research, display and exhibition, open service, education and communication, international exchange, etc., and have increasingly become the center and hotspot of museum development in the world. However, at the same time, the development of museums is unbalanced, and there is still a need to improve and upgrade the development orientation, system layout, function and institutional mechanism. By 2035, the museum system with Chinese characteristics will be more mature and finalized, and the social functions of museums will be improved, so that we can basically become a world museum power, and contribute Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to global museum development. In recent years, major museums in China have coordinated the development of museums in different regions, deepened reforms, accelerated the digitization of collections and the construction of smart museums, and strived to promote the high-quality development of China's museum industry.
