Currently, exploring hydrogen production from offshore wind power, promoting the development of offshore wind power, and developing offshore new energy are important means to enhance the capability of ocean resource development.At present, except for the large-scale development of offshore wind power, the overall development and utilization of offshore new energy in China is still in its early stages. Due to factors such as incomplete industrial chain, insufficient investment in technology research and development, and inadequate policy incentives, there is still significant room for improvement in the comprehensive development and utilization capacity and large-scale development of offshore new energy. How to strengthen the unified planning of ocean energy utilization, promote intensive development, how to increase key core technology research and development, accelerate the integration of scientific research platform resources, how to strengthen ecological cooperation in the industrial chain, create a modern industrial system, and how to strengthen financial and tax policy support, and improve incentive guarantee mechanisms? These issues that the industry is paying attention to are gradually being promoted.
Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, has a unique 582 kilometer coastline and is also the first city in the eastern coastal region to break through 20 million kilowatts of new energy power generation. Yancheng City has shown a diversified layout in the field of new energy, not only continuing to lead in the two advantageous industries of wind power and photovoltaics, but also taking advantage of the trend in future industries such as energy storage and hydrogen energy, achieving breakthroughs in various aspects. At present, Yancheng has 201 new energy enterprises, with an industrial scale exceeding 150 billion yuan, forming a good trend for the development of the entire wind and photovoltaic industry chain.
