Elektrownia-jadrowa.pl is a professional web portal, under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and the National Center for Nuclear Research dedicated to the project of construction of nuclear power plant in Poland. Elektrownia-jadrowa.pl was launched in February 2010. It is an independent project whose role is to follow the progress of the construction the first NPP in Poland. The main goals of the portal concern not only informing about the progress of the investment works, legislation or political decisions taken within its frames but also establishing a sort of a platform consisting of institutions and companies taking interest in the venture. Among the partners of the portal there are: CEZ, AREVA, NCBJ, ProAtom and others.One of the advantages is its educational value. Dedicated sections not only present the knowledge on nuclear energy, nuclear power plants around the world but also current technologies, safety issues and environmental impact.
