Europe is very close to reaching full integration of medical informatics in the healthcare and medical sectors.
When looking at East-Europe separately however, this integration process still needs important to - in certain cases - major progress. Driven by goals set via European Commission projects the region`s national governments are all designing and (re)implementing their e-health strategies. With the newest developments in Health ITC applications, and latest trends in EHR, mhealth, PMR, Big Data… hitting the market, opportunities for e-health technology and service providers are literally unprecedented.
Poland, where the Ministry of Health is providing impressive support and funding to the e-health sector, will be host country of Noppen`s East-Europe e-Health Innovation Summit. The 2-day event will provide a business focused platform connecting representatives from local and regional authorities, regulatory bodies, healthcare associations, medical companies, academies, consultancy and funding groups, service providers and technology
suppliers.
